BIOGRAPHY

I was born Lionizia Pereira Neta in honor to my paternal grandmother. After, Lionizia Pereira Martins in liking to my husband Oscar Eugênio Martins. Today, Artist and Writer LIONIZIA GOYÁ for the World! Goyá is a reference of my State Goiás and an indian name that mean “the same breed's people” or “born in that land”. I consider me Goianeis (belonging the same time to the Goiás State and Minas Gerais State). The half of my live I lived in this both States: a) I was born in Caçu-GO and lived my first 23 years in this wonderful place. - On the “farm”: daughter of farmer’s family with little education, but with a huge wisdom. I took the farm the liberty of playing everywhere: climb, go down, run, slide, skip… get fun – a happy childhood! (Thanks to my parents: Genuir Pereira de Lima and Oldene de Sousa Lima) - With 11 years old I moved to the town for study. I shared with my two brothers, also kids (with 7 and 13 years old), the responsibility of caring for a home. “- You have to study!”, “- Have education is so important.”, “- You have to graduate, be somebody.” … I heard it many times, but with no meaning for that “criança-eu-menina” (little girl). Hard days! An early maturation. Adult’s responsibility. Loneliness! - At school: learning disabilities, without incentive… without support. An almost read… … But we always have a happening, a differential, a teacher that make the diference! My teacher yesterday, today and always, the Journalist and Writer José Faria Nunes – He presented me the art and literature and then I was part of it… Booklets: 1) Plantio – José Faria.
