ANGELA REGINA RAMALHO XAVIER was born in New Hope-PR and resides in Maringá-PR, where he works as an educator. Writes since adolescence, but its literary publications began in 2007 in the Journal Letters Santiaguenses (Santiago-RS). Independently, has published three books: two in the poetry genre ("Words Ask Passage" and "Dedicated" Poeminhas "") and a Chronicles and Tales ("Hugs & Smells"). Participation in anthologies surpasses the mark of 30 publications. Regular clients of biennials and fairs, two of his books were released in the 21st and 22nd International Book Biennial of São Paulo in Brazil. His first book was suitable for reading by presenter Fausto Silva in "showcase of Faustão", in his Sunday program on Rede Globo television. His books are available in bookstores and Culture virtual catalog Martins Fontes. Abroad, his works were exhibited and/or published in major international literary events (Frankfurt, Feiria Del Libro de Buenos Aires and Expobook in New York). The electronic magazine "Clothesline of Brazil", published in Geneva (Switzerland) often brings in your edits texts of the author. In the city of Maringá, where lies, it participates actively in the events and cultural initiatives, notably in the Cultural and Literary Weekend Rallies of SESC, where in 2012 coordinated Literary Workshop for children and teenagers from public schools. Awarded in five national competitions: 1. honorable mention in 6 Stories of the ECA (2010); 2. Brazil Soiree New Poets Award (Paraíba-2012); 3. National Contest "My Brazilian Brazil" (Rio de Janeiro-2012); 4. honorable mention in the Literary Contest of the XXXI University of Sorocaba (Sao Paulo-2012); 5. literary contest "everyday Poetry" (Rio de Janeiro-2013). Also received the trophy and diploma granting Literarte culture Award (Curitiba-2012). Earlier this year, he was honored by MALDONADOMARKO-Brazilian Chamber of young writers (Rio de Janeiro-2013) with the second gold star, by reaching the milestone of over one hundred thousand readings in online anthologies organized by that House, that has as one of its main goals reveal new talents of contemporary literature. Angela Ramalho is a member of the REBRA-Brazilian Writers and network ranks No. 27 in ANLPPB Chair-National Academy of letters of the poet's Portal.
